Clarke Quay

Happend to meet up with friends for dinner at Clarke Quay past few weeks. Craving for the japanese Char Siew ramen which located at CentralTongue out. This restaurant served limited choices of ramen plus some side dishes, but quite lots revisited patrons here. As usual , here are the two dishes we had: char siew ramen and grilled pork belly and happend to be our favourite so far.Wink

After the dinner, we took a quick stroll outside Central mall, sat on the steps enjoy breezy air near riverbank watching peoples and snapping pictures opposite side of Clarke Quay. Clarke Quay is a well known for clubbing spot and plenty of classy bars and restaurants  if you would like to spent a night and here are the recomended  place to be. ..although it is too touristy place for me Laughing

We had also pooped by at Clinic ( fyi, it is a drinking joint not a clinic)Smile for a couples of beers before heading back. The fun started with  the wheelchairs and clinic look alike kinda setup LaughingI am sure out of curiosity you will busy playing with the wheelchair as we do. We had pretty awesome night, chilling and spending awesome conversation here.

View of refurbished pre war buildings converted to remarkable hang out spot.

Mei Hiong Yuen Dessert

Mei Hiong Yuen Dessert
66-67 Temple Street. Singapore.

Whenever you have a chance to hang around at Chinatown, please do stop by at temple street Mei Hiong Yuen for their homemade, tasty and delicious dessert. It is located just a walking distance from the Chinatown MRT station. With the humid weather in Singapore it was so perfect to have a cooling refresher.

The famous signature dessert in this shop is Mango Pamelo, almond cream and sesame paste dessert. Today we happened to be around Chinatown and we decided to stop by MHY for light afternoon snack and chilling dessert. We ordered ourselves a Mango Pamelo and steam radish cakes. We were told by the waitress that we can mix with the other flavour like pumpkin and yam in one serving. What a great combination!

Freshly steamed and tasty and radish, yam and pumpkin cakes (SGD 2.20).

As the shaved ice melted, you will start munching with the pamelo pulp and mango cube that taste extremely juicy (SGD 3.50).
